Biomonitoring of mercury in Fısh and Human hair

During the sampling, CEPHED visited to local community i.e. Community around Fewa Lake for fish sampling and Women Group from Imadole and Nurses and Doctor community for hair sampling.


CEPHED conducted awareness raising class regarding the mercury in human health and its toxicity among the fish consuming community from Khapaudi,Sarangkot-2, Pokhara, Kaski and doctors/nurses regarding the mercury in dentistry sector, National Dental Hospital.







Health Care Waste Management Training

CEPHED conducted awareness regarding the hospital waste impacts on human health and its management strategies to different hospitals situated around the Kathmandu Valley as well as outside the capital city in Dhulikhel, Kavre. In all of the mentioned hospitals, the participants were doctors, nurses and administrative staff of the respective hospitals.
